On September 23, the reporter learned from Shenyang Aerospace University that China's first electric aircraft with independent intellectual property rights, the RX1E Ruixiang two-seat electric light aircraft, has begun mass production in Shenyang. This aircraft uses lithium batteries as energy and adopts a full carbon fiber composite material structure. Compared with traditional oil-powered aircraft, it has the characteristics of low cost, energy saving, environmental protection, safety and practicality.

The RX1E Ruixiang two-seater electric light aircraft was designed by Liaoning General Aviation Research Institute and manufactured by Shenyang Ruixiang General Aircraft Manufacturing Co., Ltd. The aircraft has a take-off distance of 290 meters and a landing gliding distance of 560 meters. "Every 1.5 hours of charging can meet 40 minutes of flight. What's rare is that the RX1E consumes only 10 degrees of electricity per charge, which is equivalent to about 5 yuan in electricity bills, and the operating cost is very low." Yang Fengtian, an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering and president of Shenyang Aerospace University, said.

At the Second Shenyang Faku International Flight Conference that ended on September 22, the RX1E performed stunts in the sky, including takeoff, pull-up, climbing, diving, and spinning. The various difficult moves won applause from the audience.

It is reported that RX1E keeps up with the international development trend of new energy aircraft and can be used for entertainment, teaching, industrial and agricultural production, aerial photography and other purposes. It can also use its low vibration characteristics to implement the special function of high-precision aerial survey.
