The "CODA" pure electric car jointly developed by China and the United States has been on the market in the United States for a year. Its core power battery is independently developed and produced by Tianjin Lishen Company. After charging for 6 hours, the car can travel 300 kilometers at a cost of 10% of that of a gasoline engine. Reporters learned yesterday that as my country's first commercial pure electric car exported in batches, more than 700 "CODA" pure electric cars have been exported in the past year.
This pure electric vehicle, developed jointly by CODA, Tianjin Lishen and Changan Hafei, was launched in the US market in batches in the second half of 2011. Lishen is responsible for the development of lithium battery cells and assembling them into battery pack systems. This electric vehicle can be charged with a 220-volt power supply. A full charge of 6 hours can support the vehicle to travel about 300 kilometers, with a maximum speed of 120 kilometers per hour. A fast charge of 2 hours can travel an average of 80 kilometers. A pure electric vehicle only needs 34 kWh of electricity for every 200 kilometers, which is 16 yuan, equivalent to one-tenth of the cost of a traditional gasoline car.
As the director unit of the my country New Energy Vehicle Central Enterprise Alliance, Lishen Battery is responsible for the "12th Five-Year Plan" China New Energy Vehicle Innovation Project, and strives to become the main supplier of my country's new energy electric vehicles by 2015. The company currently maintains the first place in the domestic market share of international high-end customers and ranks among the top five in the world. It will build five production bases across the country and is expected to achieve annual sales of over 10 billion by 2015.
