The German government's reduction in subsidies will significantly shrink the German inverter market. For SolarMax, sales in Germany will decrease accordingly. We are fully confident in our product positioning and remain optimistic about the expansion of market share in the future. For manufacturers in the industry, emerging markets such as China will become more important.

Photovoltaic grid-connected inverter technology will be smarter in the future, output more reliable power quality, and be more reasonably modularized. With the reduction of grid-connected electricity price subsidies, the supply and demand pressure on inverters is gradually increasing. The challenge we face is how to reduce production costs, and on this basis reduce the market price of inverters to obtain considerable returns. There are two application modes for inverters: one is a single-phase string inverter/multi-phase string inverter, which is mainly used in residential and commercial areas. These inverters have good cost performance. Their placement can be based on a more reasonable electronic environment and easier access for maintenance. It is likely to become a mainstream solution in the next few years. Another type is a centralized inverter, which is mainly used in industrial rooftop and land projects. It is characterized by being optimized for high voltage, has a good cost performance, and has a full range of solutions that can be connected to the medium-voltage power grid.

In addition, the production and application of inverters must comply with the corresponding legal provisions and standards. Qualified product certification is one of the most important criteria for selecting products, and it must also pass a series of other test standards. The stability of the power grid becomes particularly important as the number of inverters increases. Inverters used in China must pass the LVRT (low voltage ride-through) regulations. If the inverter needs to be connected to the country's high-voltage transmission line network, it must also pass the LVRT regulations issued by the State Grid Corporation.

For SolarMax, we hope to develop high-quality projects in China with high-quality partners. We do not want to compete with Chinese manufacturers on price, but emphasize quality. In addition to small and medium-sized BIPV (building integrated photovoltaic) projects, our products are also suitable for large buildings, such as SolarMax's string inverters and large central inverters, which can be used in projects of different sizes. Our goal is to establish a high-quality Swiss image in the Chinese market.
