The American Municipal Power Company (AMP) recently announced that it will select Nextronex's 1000V DC inverters for its 4.2MW solar photovoltaic power plant in Napoleon, Ohio. The project is expected to be completed in July 2012.

It is said that since the entire system uses multiple inverters with a minimum power of only 650W, each sub-array can optimize power control individually, and the total power generation output is estimated to increase by 7%.

"Choosing Nextronex and investing in a renewable energy project will help AMP stay at the forefront of power generation companies nationwide," said Greg Knudson, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Nextronex. "Renewable energy sources such as solar power can help the company diversify its energy mix and cope with fluctuations in electricity prices. Selecting the best products on the market will help this solar power project achieve maximum power output."
