JENOPTIK will launch a new product line for the processing of micro-materials in the production of crystalline silicon solar cells. The company will present the new products at the trade show in Dallas (USA) from October 17 to 20, 2011, in the materials and equipment supplier area, booth number 4249.
In recent years, a large number of thin-film solar cell production plants have been built around the world. The pursuit of higher efficiency of solar photovoltaic modules is endless. To this end, new more efficient and more cost-effective production technologies are constantly tested and evaluated for their impact on the entire production process. More and more laser processing methods are moving from the laboratory to the actual production of crystalline silicon solar cells.
Jenoptik in Germany has developed the JENOPTIK–VOTANSolas 1800 for the production of crystalline silicon solar cells. Multiple variants and modular structures allow it to be integrated into almost any automated equipment and adjusted to the required production volume. Minimum processing time and flexible upgrade features based on required production volume ensure the maximum possible utilization of each component. As a result, the lowest operating costs in the entire market can be achieved. Despite the addition of additional process steps, the goal of reducing production costs can still be achieved.
