Recently, Jilin Province officially launched a polysilicon cell production project in Siping City, introducing Taiwan technology to promote production development.

It is reported that the total investment of the project is 500 million yuan, covering an area of 100,000 square meters. The product uses polycrystalline silicon ingots as raw materials, and is processed into finished silicon wafers through processes such as squaring, flat grinding, chamfering, and slicing.

It is estimated that after the project is put into production, it will achieve an annual output value of 2 billion yuan and a profit and tax of 300 million yuan. The project will be completed by the end of 2012.
