Clean Energy New Materials R&D Center opened in Shanghai

This event marks a major progress in the construction of the Chinese Academy of Sciences Shanghai Pudong Science and Technology Park, which is jointly built by the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Shanghai Municipal Government.

Han Zheng, Deputy Secretary of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, Jiang Mianheng, Vice President of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, relevant leaders of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, Wang Wenbiao, Vice Chairman of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Elion Resources Group, and heads of well-known Chinese and foreign companies such as Boeing, China Three Gorges Group, Shanxi Lu'an Group, Yunnan Coal Industry, China Mobile, and China Shipbuilding attended the entry ceremony.

At the event ceremony, the Shanghai Advanced Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Elion Resources Group jointly signed a cooperation agreement to jointly establish a clean energy new material research and development center in Shanghai Pudong Science Park, marking the official establishment of China's first clean energy new material research and development center with private enterprises as the main body.
