Intertek Shanghai Photovoltaic Laboratory, a global third-party quality and safety service organization, recently announced in Shanghai that in order to improve its service level, the laboratory will gradually add new environmental test chambers, transient simulators, light aging simulators and other equipment, doubling the certification test capacity than before, and significantly shortening the test cycle, thereby providing Chinese companies with faster and more accurate global access solutions.

In the first quarter of 2010, my country's photovoltaic export demand increased by nearly 100% compared with the same period last year, and the total export of photovoltaic products for the whole year is expected to increase by no less than 15% year-on-year. Relevant data show that the photovoltaic industry, which is gradually emerging from the impact of the financial crisis, is facing a new round of development opportunities. In order to meet the further needs of domestic enterprises in certification, in this expansion, Intertek Shanghai Photovoltaic Laboratory not only increased the number of original specialized equipment, but also added high-precision measurement equipment that meets international standards, including transient simulators for component performance measurement and light aging equipment for thin-film component testing. The addition of transient simulators makes Intertek Photovoltaic Laboratory the first laboratory in China to have both AAA-level transient and steady-state solar simulators.
