GDF Suez and Daniel Rolland signed a contract on February 12, 2010 to build France's largest solar photovoltaic system in Curbans, France.

The Curbans solar photovoltaic facility has a total installed capacity of 33MW, using approximately 145,000 photovoltaic panels, and can generate 43.5 million KWh of renewable electricity per year.

The Curbans Solar PV facility will cover 150 acres and be located on a large flat land at an altitude of 3,280 feet. It is scheduled to be put into use in 2011.
