It is understood that the first phase of the R&D and testing center of Tianwei Thin Film Photovoltaic Co., Ltd. has invested 150 million yuan and has a construction area of 5,000 square meters. The testing center has a thin-film silicon solar cell pilot line with an annual production capacity of 2 megawatts, as well as a high-efficiency thin-film silicon solar cell R&D laboratory, a new thin-film battery and module R&D laboratory, a module reliability testing center and other laboratory groups.
According to Ma Wenxue, general manager of Tianwei Thin Film Photovoltaic Co., Ltd., the center has complete R&D and testing equipment and an excellent technical team. It can develop and trial-produce high-efficiency large-area thin-film silicon solar cells, conduct related basic research on thin-film solar cells and develop new photovoltaic products. At the same time, it can provide sample trial production, product testing, inspection and other services that meet relevant industry standards for this company and other companies.
It is reported that the center has become the largest research and service platform in China's thin-film photovoltaic industry with its most advanced technology and most comprehensive processes.
