Recently, Liaoning Province's first "wind-solar complementary power generation" system consisting of wind power generation equipment and solar photovoltaic panels was officially completed in Fuxin Haizhou Open-pit Mine National Mining Park. This marks that Haizhou Open-pit Mine National Mining Park has become a demonstration area for the comprehensive development and utilization of new energy.
The wind and solar power generation complementary project of Fuxin Haizhou Open-pit Mine National Mine Park was launched along with the construction of the mine park, and the system is currently operating well. The design concept of the system makes up for the defects of independent wind power and photovoltaic systems and realizes the comprehensive development and utilization of new energy.
On the roof behind the museum in the park, there are rows of solar photovoltaic panels, through which clean electricity is continuously supplied to the museum exhibition hall. Around the park square, there are rows of "wind-solar complementary" system street lights composed of small wind power generation equipment and solar photovoltaic panels. In addition to the ordinary lamp frame, the top of the street light has a rotating decoration similar to fan blades, and there is also an unfolded photovoltaic panel in the middle of the lamp post. It is reported that this street light completely uses wind and solar power to maintain lighting. The rotating blade device and solar panel at the top can convert wind and solar energy into electricity and store it for nighttime square lighting.
Fuxin has abundant wind and solar energy resources. At present, Fuxin City is actively developing wind and solar energy resources and making every effort to build a new energy base. According to the staff of the Mine Park, the wind and solar power generation complementary project built by the Mine Park integrates wind power and photovoltaic power generation - solar energy is used during the day and on windless days, and wind energy is used at night and on rainy days, thus achieving all-weather operation and ensuring the balance of power supply in the Mine Park at different times and under different weather conditions.
