When interviewing most undergraduates, I only asked some basic principles about the MCS-51 series of single-chip microcomputers, but few people could answer them completely. It was simply a variety of questions. As an undergraduate student majoring in automation who is about to graduate, many still don’t know that single-chip microcomputers are the core foundation of this major. Isn’t it sad? I know that your level is not high. In fact, I only require these students to master the basic skills of single-chip microcomputer application development, write some basic programs in assembly and C51, and actually do some simple projects, and then write the projects they have done into relatively standardized documents. I think this form of "self-introduction" is definitely much better than letting others read your stereotyped "eight-part essay" resume. The ancients said: "One leaf knows the coming of autumn" is actually talking about this truth. To be fair, only students with such a foundation are worthy of companies spending money to "develop" you again. In fact, many students simply don't listen to the teacher no matter how much he persuades them. I think you just need to be a caring person, take the initiative to ask the teacher more, and then help the teacher with some work from the third year. Another way is to spend money to buy some learning and development experimental boards to strengthen the training of hands-on ability. But many students say that they don't have money, but in fact it is not the case. Nowadays, students buy mobile phones in a trend. I don't know how useful mobile phones are to you now? In fact, the current students' family conditions are generally not very good, but these children's comparison mentality is very serious and terrible. It is not until today when I am about to graduate that I feel it is too difficult to find a job. Is it easy for parents to save some hard-earned money to buy you a computer? "Hope your son will become a dragon - pity the heart of parents in the world"! They hope that you can learn some real skills, but you may spend a lot of time playing games and chatting on the Internet. In fact, it is just a piece of cake for you. Just spend a few hundred yuan to buy a test board and work hard for a summer vacation to strengthen practice, and you may be different. At the same time, your confidence may increase greatly and your future will be bright. As the saying goes: If there is food in the warehouse, there is no panic in the heart! If you are not prepared in normal times, then you will definitely fail in the interview in a hurry. Since 2003, it has been the first year with the largest number of graduates after the first expansion of enrollment in the country. There will be more graduates in the future, and there will be more graduate students and undergraduates competing for jobs. Facing the employment dilemma, the pressure cannot be said to be small, and it is painful. In addition, I have to face those endless self-introduction resumes every day. Unfortunately, almost all of them are "eight-part essays" that are annoying. In fact, as long as your grades are not too bad, scores are not the key to a successful application. The important thing is to be down-to-earth and not to be exaggerated. In fact, as long as you write a small production you have done in your daily life into an experience, and then bring your work, "facts speak louder than words" can impress people more. There are also many master students who have gone through four years of undergraduate and three years of graduate study and are about to graduate. Not only do they not know what an embedded operating system is, but they can't even master C++ proficiently, let alone the ability to develop drivers. They only did an application design of a single-chip microcomputer and got a master's degree. To be honest, it is unacceptable to talk about generalities without specialization in the profession! For me, if you don't have special talents, I would rather spend three years to train a good undergraduate and give him a higher salary. He is definitely not worse than an ordinary master's student. Therefore, after being admitted to graduate school, you must always understand that it is crucial to strengthen the cultivation of hands-on skills and the study of cutting-edge science and technology. This is the "killer stream" of your future interview, because the salary you require after graduation is at least twice that of an ordinary undergraduate, but this money is not so easy to get. In 3-5 years at most, you will definitely see a reality, that is, if you are not proficient in embedded operating system application development technology, you can only get a monthly salary of 2,000 yuan. Even if you are a graduate student or a doctor, what's so strange about that? Uncle Deng has a famous saying, no matter whether the cat is white or black, it is a good cat if it catches mice! We know that entrepreneurs want to make money, otherwise the company will not be able to retain talents, and the ruthless market competition mechanism will not hesitate to eliminate the boss. A sustainable enterprise is unimaginable without outstanding talents with wisdom and intelligence. It is not enough to have a few people, but an outstanding army.
In fact, the issue of employment is so simple for a hard-working person. I interviewed more than 300 undergraduates, and I was only interested in a few undergraduates with average grades. They mainly participated in the 2001 National Electronics Competition. Some of them were students who worked with teachers in their spare time, summer vacation and winter vacation. Chatting with them was a great enjoyment and comfort. It was really a treasure for me. So, I immediately advised them that it is really difficult for them to get into a good school and tutor with their average grades, so it is better not to take the postgraduate entrance examination to avoid wasting time. At the same time, I also confidently told them, "I am your mentor! I am willing to give you opportunities and spend money to train you." In fact, even if you are admitted to the postgraduate entrance examination, if you do not meet a tutor with advanced vision and sufficient funds, your study will be in vain, not to mention that the number of postgraduate students has increased so much now? Does a tutor have so many topics with so many postgraduate students? Even if there are, can he handle it? Perhaps the cruel reality will make you see that after graduation, you will look back and find that you are far worse than your classmates who graduated with you. It is true that they have much better opportunities than you, and the key is that they treat opportunities better than you, which can be said to be just right. Do you have to study for a postgraduate degree to have a high theoretical level? How ridiculous! We know that the development of electronic and computer technology is changing with each passing day. Does the speed of university updates have to be fast? The answer is no, for example, promoting the latest microcontroller and USB technology of PHILIPS! Their update speed is definitely much slower than that of a sustainable enterprise. Is it that our talent level is not high enough? Our company has a group of such "young experts" who are outstanding in various fields. Since 2003, we will have a series of monographs published by Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics Press. Most of the books come from our long-term basic research and application development. It is no exaggeration to say that these are the crystallization of our young team's cooperation. They are excellent and outstanding talents. They have no employment pressure and are not afraid of being fired. On the contrary, I always try my best to strengthen the management of the company, and rack my brains to treat talents well and retain talents from all aspects such as salary, bonus, welfare, life and career achievement. Such hard-working talents do not need to worry too much about work and life. Of course, different people have different opinions on this issue, which is the issue I will talk about below. How a person positions himself according to his own characteristics, conditions and opportunities is also crucial.
For example, if your understanding of microcontrollers is only at the entry level, then you should be low-key first, because your main task is to find an opportunity to learn. To be honest, at this moment you must be clearly aware that finding a mentor is more important than the immediate benefits! Because you really don’t have the capital to be proud of now, you must try your best to get the admission ticket to the society for the first time. How important is this to you! As the saying goes, "a tall building starts from the ground." You must find opportunities to show your ability through performance, and you are indeed different. In this way, you may establish your "credit" in a company. With credit, there will be more and more opportunities. By then, you don’t have to worry about your treatment and status. So for a young person who has just entered the society, if you can conquer the world with "integrity", your future will definitely be infinitely bright. Never feel that you are among the top students in the class or that your hands-on ability is much better than that of your classmates, or that you have borrowed a lot of money during your studies, or that your family is so short of money, because when you join the competition of the whole society, these are not the reasons for you to ask for a high salary. At this time, your mentality may determine your fate. Therefore, you must have a full understanding and correct evaluation of yourself. Often, many students use these reasons to offer me a high price, and I have nothing to say but to "shake my head and sigh".
If your level is not enough, I think you should not be inferior. You must know that opportunities always belong to prepared young people, but you should not take it lightly. At this moment, you should cheer up, pick up the books immediately, study hard and strengthen practical training, and go out boldly when you are fully grown, so that the society can make a proper evaluation of you, and then constantly adjust yourself according to the actual situation, continue to study and practice, because the rapid development of electronics and computer science presents a changing situation with each passing day, you must understand: you are always only 6 months away from failure!
