It is reported that the price of the factory is expected to be around 80-90 billion yen (about 5.1-5.7 billion yuan). However, it is not clear whether Apple and Sharp will share the funds.

JDI hopes to reach a deal within this fiscal year. Two weeks ago, JDI announced that it was in talks with major customers to sell the factory for $200 million.

JDI said it is considering all options and nothing has been finalized.
