Working Principle Typical Application Circuit Diagram
LM3406/06HV is a buck regulator with a wide input voltage range, low reference voltage, and dual-wire dimming function. Therefore, LM3406/06HV is an ideal constant current supply source for LEDs and provides a forward current of up to 1.5A. In addition, this chip adopts a controlled on-time (COT) structure, in which a comparator and a one-time start timer are built in. Unlike a fixed clock, the start timer changes inversely with the changes in input and
output voltages. The LM3406/06HV chip has a built-in integration circuit that ensures average current output. Whenever the converter adopts continuous conduction mode (CCM) operation, the controlled on-time structure ensures that the switching frequency remains constant regardless of the changes in input and output voltages. Therefore, the output current of LM3406/06HV is extremely accurate, and the transient response is also extremely fast, which can ensure that the switching frequency remains constant under different conditions.

A brief discussion on high-efficiency drive solutions for all-round penetration of LED lighting
Under the current situation of imbalance between electricity demand and production, the most effective way to cope with it is to improve energy efficiency, that is, to use technology to perform the same task or function with less electricity. The use of electricity involves many fields. Taking common buildings as an e
