With this technology combined with previous fingerprint recognition technology, only a small part of the fingerprint is needed to confirm identity information.
In an article introducing this new technology published in the journal Nature Communications on April 29 this year, researchers stated that sensor technology plays an extremely important role in this new fingerprint analysis and pore clinical diagnosis technology.
Traditional fingerprint identification requires a large area of fingerprint information to be collected, and it is easy to make mistakes during the collection and comparison process. In contrast, this new technology only needs a very small part of the fingerprint to confirm the identity information and ensure accuracy. This new fingerprint identification method can also be used for clinical diagnosis of pilomatricosis.
