SDI high-definition cameras are particularly prominent in various demanding video monitoring applications. They can be used in various low-light environments, such as parking lots, urban monitoring, buildings and construction sites; they can also be used in outdoor surrounding environments, such as power plants, water treatment plants, prisons, and railway monitoring. For example, at night, there may be only one light source at a construction site. Users can supplement ordinary cameras with infrared lighting equipment, but the high sensitivity of BEYONDVISIONTM technology makes this supplement unnecessary, and the energy consumption of each SDI high-definition camera does not exceed 1.5W. In an era when the world is paying attention to energy conservation and environmental protection, we still hope that the cameras purchased by the domestic security industry will use as little or no infrared lights as possible to reduce power consumption and equipment maintenance costs. Taking the surveillance cameras currently used in the Safe City project as an example, high-power and high-energy-consuming equipment can often be seen. If the power of each camera is reduced by 10w, based on the calculation that a provincial capital city needs to install 150,000 cameras, more than 13.14 million kWh of electricity can be saved in a year, and the electricity bill that can be saved in a year will exceed 10 million yuan.
With the continuous development of economic construction, the security monitoring system that matches it is becoming more and more important, especially for monitoring equipment that can still guarantee the monitoring quality in low-light environments, which will also become the focus of development. Therefore, it can be predicted that in the future, more and more companies will adopt BEYONDVISIONTM technology to develop SDI high-definition cameras with high sensitivity and higher resolution. Better sensitivity and lower image noise will be the key functions of any new imaging technology in the future.
