Solar cells, also known as "solar chips" or "photovoltaic cells", are optoelectronic semiconductor sheets that use sunlight to directly generate electricity. With the four-quadrant SMU source meter as the core, coupled with the ACS Basic special software, it is designed to help users free themselves from complex programming and save time for the next scientific research breakthrough. At the same time, Tao Jianzhong provides different selection configurations to meet users’ testing needs of different power and accuracy.

1. No programming required
ACS Basic software contains special modules for solar cell testing, which saves measurement time and improves testing efficiency. ACS Basic is a semiconductor parameter testing software platform. It is mainly used for characteristic analysis of packaged components and discrete devices. It supports Keithley 2400 series, 2600B series and high-power 2650A series SMU source meters. Its built-in solar cell module can automatically calculate typical parameters of solar cells, such as ISC (short circuit cell), VOC (open circuit voltage), Pmax (maximum power point), FF (fill factor), etc. Users can obtain parameters directly without programming. As a result, measurement development time is saved.
2. Flexible configuration
Meet the different power requirements for solar cell and solar panel testing: The SMU in the SolarCell-24 series is Keithley's new generation touch screen single-channel SMU, with a friendly interface and easy to use. The front panel can directly display iv curves and data. SolarCell- The SMUs in the 26 series are available in single and double channels, with 10A Pulse test function. The unique TSP technology increases test throughput and improves test speed; at the same time, for the testing needs of high-power solar panels and battery packs, Keithley can Provide ±20A DC/±50A Pulse and ±3KV solutions.
