Leather rubbing color fastness tester, testing machine Introduction
This instrument is used to test the rubbing fastness of the leather surface and evaluate the transfer of color by determining the degree of "fading" of the leather surface or coating and the degree of staining of the wool felt. During the test, wrap dry or wet white wool felt on the friction surface, and then rub the test piece clamped on the test bench back and forth. There are two testing methods: dry and wet.

Test principle
The square wool felt on the friction head (with or without additional weights) rubs the leather (stretched or not) on the friction platform back and forth. After a certain number of times, the wool felt is compared with stained gray cards to test the leather. Compare the faded gray cards and evaluate the grade.
The instrument consists of the following parts:
Additional weight: According to the requirements of each standard, the additional weight is 500g.
Friction hammer: According to the requirements of various standards, the friction hammer is 500g.
Friction table: carries the specimen during testing.

Extended spiral knob: By rotating the spiral knob, the area of the friction table is enlarged, thereby deforming the sample fixed on the friction table.

evaluate
Under the artificial light source specified in GB/T 6151 or sunlight from the north, compare the tested and untested parts.
Use the corresponding geometric graded gray sample card for grading (that is, use "staining degree" for color migration and "color change" for damage).
If the rating is between two ratings. Take a lower rating, that is, a worse situation.
If the ratings of repeated tests are different, the lower rating between the two shall be used as the test result.
