1. Tektronix MDO3054 oscilloscope connection

The MDO3000 includes several ports that allow you to connect the instrument to a network, directly to a PC, or to other test equipment.

Front-panel and rear-panel USB host ports let you easily transfer screenshots, instrument settings, and waveform data to a USB mass storage device. You can also connect a USB keyboard to one of the USB host ports for data entry.

Rear-panel USB device port for remotely controlling the oscilloscope from a PC or for printing directly to a PictBridge-compatible printer.

A standard 10/100 Ethernet port on the back of the instrument allows easy connection to a network, provides web and email printing, and also offers LXI Core 2011 compatibility.

A video output port on the rear of the instrument allows the oscilloscope display to be exported directly to an external monitor or projector.

2. Tektronix MDO3054 Oscilloscope Remote Connection and Instrument Control

Exporting data and measurements is as simple as connecting a USB cable between the oscilloscope and the PC. Key software applications OpenChoiceDesktop, Microsoft Excel and Word toolbars are included standard with every oscilloscope, allowing fast and easy direct communication with a Windows PC.

The standard OpenChoice Desktop enables fast and easy communication between the oscilloscope and a PC via USB or LAN, transferring setups, waveforms, and screen images.

The built-in e*Scope feature allows quick control of the oscilloscope over a network connection through a standard web browser. Simply enter the oscilloscope's IP address or network name and a web page will be displayed in your browser. Transfer and save settings, waveforms, measurements, and screen images directly from your web browser, or make real-time control changes to the oscilloscope's settings
