Signal generator is a common signal source, widely used in electronic circuits, automatic control systems, digital experiments and other fields; it can generate a variety of waveforms, such as triangular waves, sawtooth waves, rectangular waves (including square waves), and sine waves.
The function of the signal generator: signal modulation function. In the modulated signal, the amplitude, phase or frequency changes embed the low-frequency information into the high-frequency carrier signal. The obtained signal can transmit any signal from voice to data to video.
Signal modulation can be divided into two types: analog modulation and digital modulation. Analog modulation, such as amplitude modulation (AM) and frequency modulation (FM), is most commonly used in broadcast communications, while digital modulation is based on two states, allowing the signal to represent binary data.
PinTech function generator uses DDS technology, with a high output frequency of 200MHz, a high sampling rate of 1.25GSa/s and a vertical resolution of 14 bits. 800*600 high-resolution TFT LCD display, configurable multi-touch capacitive screen, supports quick adjustment of waveform parameters through touch operation and touch editing of arbitrary waveforms. DG5100 signal generator can be used with PinTech high-voltage amplifiers and power amplifiers.
