The integrated orifice flowmeter is a high range ratio differential pressure flow device composed of a standard orifice plate and a multi-parameter differential pressure transmitter. It can measure the flow of gas, steam, liquid and lead, and is widely used in process control and measurement in the fields of petroleum, chemical industry, metallurgy, electricity, heating, water supply, etc. The throttling device is also called a differential pressure flowmeter, which is composed of a primary detection component and a secondary device and is widely used in gas, steam and liquid flow measurement. It has a simple structure, easy maintenance and stable performance.
Precautions for using the integrated orifice flowmeter:
1. Whether the design parameters of the integrated orifice flowmeter are consistent with the actual parameters is directly related to the measurement accuracy. When the standard orifice is put into use, if the measured parameters are within the range of the design parameters, the measurement accuracy will generally not exceed the design calculation accuracy; however, if the measured parameters are far from the design parameter range (assuming that the selection, manufacturing, and installation of the standard orifice and differential pressure transmitter meet the requirements), it is possible that the provided design parameters are incorrect, and the design parameters should be changed and the standard orifice should be redesigned and calculated.
2. When measuring the flow of dirty fluid, a settler or isolator must be configured. Pay attention to the reasonable selection of the location of the inlet, outlet and drain port of the pressure-conducting fluid to achieve the purpose of draining.
3. When measuring the flow rate of corrosive fluid, be sure to use a suitable isolator, select a suitable isolation fluid according to the specific gravity of the medium, and pay attention to the reasonable selection of the isolation fluid and the inlet of the measured fluid.
4. For new meters or integrated orifice flowmeters that are put back into use after being out of service for a period of time, the pressure pipeline should be checked for blockage or leakage before being put into use. For liquid media, the pressure pipeline should be filled with clean water or other pressure-conducting liquids. Pay attention to the gas mixed in the discharge pipeline. For gas media, pay attention to the accumulation of liquid in the discharge pipeline.
Integrated orifice flowmeter maintenance precautions:
1. The zero point of the differential pressure transmitter sometimes drifts, affecting the measurement accuracy (especially when the flow rate is small and the differential pressure is close to the lower limit), so the zero point should be calibrated frequently. The zero calibration cycle of the differential pressure transmitter can be extended to 1 year based on experience. We recommend using a differential pressure transmitter from Zhongkong to reduce the workload of daily maintenance.
2. Daily maintenance work mainly involves clearing the deposits in the settler or isolator and regularly draining them from the drain port. When the measured medium is a high-temperature, high-pressure, corrosive or toxic fluid, pay attention to safety when clearing.
