The ZDS2022 Oscilloscope 100 Technical Exchange Conference is still in full swing. Through communication with a customer, we learned that one of their sample boards may have abnormal waveforms at the moment of power-on. Today, we will use ZDS2022 to capture power-on signals multiple times and compare and observe multiple groups of power-on waveforms on the same screen in real time! How to implement this approach?
There is a reference waveform [Ref] key in the multi-function control area on the front panel of the ZDS2022 oscilloscope. The function of this reference waveform can temporarily store the measured waveform on the screen, and supports 3 reference channels for temporary storage of waveforms. Press "Channel Enable", rotate knob A to REF1, short press knob A to select REF1, and select "Store Waveform" to temporarily store the currently captured power-on waveform, which is the white reference waveform 1 on the main interface. Similarly, select REF2 in channel enable, power on the sample for the second time, select temporary waveform, and a light blue reference waveform 2 will appear on the main interface. Select REF3 in channel enable, power on the sample for the third time, select temporary waveform, and a light yellow reference waveform 3 will appear on the main interface. Power on the sample for the fourth time, and 4 groups of waveforms at the moment of power-on can be seen on the current screen.

This comparative observation chart is very valuable. Not only is the comparison of the 4 groups of power-on waveforms clear at a glance, but the specific location of the abnormality is also very clear!
The design of the ZDS2022 reference waveform function helps users quickly analyze and determine the cause of the fault, which is very practical!
