The wedge flowmeter is mainly used to measure the volume flow of conductive liquids and slurries in closed pipes. Such as sewage, water, mud, various acids, salt solutions, food slurries, etc.
The wedge flowmeter can take the pressure by flange diaphragm to protect the differential pressure transmitter and extend the service life; it can also adopt the corresponding throttling material. Under the working conditions, it must be anti-corrosive. It is generally used in corrosive on-site occasions. The installation of the wedge flowmeter for oil on site:
1. Understand the characteristics of oil. Check whether each valve, pressure pipe and live joint are connected intact. Whether the balance valve is open.
2. Check whether the secondary valve and drain valve are closed, and then check the pressure pipe.
3. Whether there is leakage at the connection joint and valve. If there is no leakage, open all the primary valves.
4. After the sewage is discharged, open the drain valves separately, and then close the drain valve to remove air.
5. Tighten the wedge flowmeter to loosen the differential pressure chamber screw plug.
