1. To remove the high-viscosity oil attachments in the mass flow meter measuring tube, it is recommended that users use steam purging and cleaning methods.
2. The steam source can be the sweeping steam in the petrochemical plant, with an appropriate amount of circulating water, and led to the flow meter with a steam hose.
3. The flow meter should be placed flat on the ground, and the bottom should be properly raised to tilt the flow tube to facilitate the self-flow discharge of the washed material.
4. To ensure safety, the steam at the outlet should not exceed 0.5Mpa, and the temperature should not exceed 110℃; the flow meter junction box should be properly sealed; the washed material should be discharged into the special oil discharge ditch.
5. The purge should be carried out step by step: first purge the flange, and then purge the two measuring tubes of the flow meter in turn; after purging from the inlet, repeat the purge process from the outlet.
6. The purge and cleaning process can be ended only when there is no obvious stain or debris in the washed liquid.
7. After connecting the flow meter to the transmitter and powering on the test, the density indication should be approximately zero; if the indication is large, it means that there are still foreign objects in the measuring tube, which needs to be cleaned again.
8. If the physical and chemical properties of the deposits in the measuring tube are to be determined, it is recommended that the user use a suitable solvent to complete the cleaning work.
