The structure of the oscillator. The oscillator is the heart of the optical oscilloscope and converts electrical signals into light fluctuations.

The core component of the signal. The vibrator is often called a pen galvanometer. It looks like a pen, 75mm long and 3-6mm in diameter. It is actually a moving coil galvanometer with very small mass and inertia. The reaction torque is generated by tensioning wire, and the damping torque is generated by electromagnetic methods related to the resistance of the external circuit, or by internal liquid damping. These vibrators are installed side by side in the common magnetic component of the recorder. The figure shows a typical vibrator structure. In the vibrator, the moving coil mechanism suspended by tensioning wire is installed in a cylindrical frame and inserted into an external sleeve. A small aluminum mirror is connected to the moving coil mechanism and cooperates with a lens to focus the ultraviolet light incident on the small mirror. The aluminum wire coil is wound around two skeletons to form a loop. The number of turns of the coil is determined by the sensitivity of the vibrator. One end of the vibrator coil is connected to the frame, and the other end is connected to the top insulated from the outer jacket. Therefore, the vibrators in the common magnetic component are electrically insulated from each other.
