1. Inspection items:
1. Check the installation of the flow meter: After the installation of the Verabar flow meter is completed, it must be carefully checked, requiring the welding to be firm, the direction to be correct, and no leakage during the pressure test.
2. Instrument adjustment: Carefully read the manual of the intelligent flow totalizer. According to the calculation book attached to the Verabar flow meter, correctly set the parameters in the intelligent flow totalizer to ensure that the totalizer can correctly calculate and display the flow. If you go directly to the computer, you need to set the input data format and the corresponding compensation method inside the computer.
3. The instrument wiring is correct: The Verabar flow meter, the differential pressure transmitter, and the flow totalizer together constitute a measurement system. Please check repeatedly and confirm that it is correct before putting it into operation.
4. System preheating: After the preparation for commissioning is completed, the measured medium fills the process pipeline, and the Verabar flow meter is temporarily in a closed state. At this time, the balancing valve of the three-valve group should be in an open state, and the high-pressure valve and the low-pressure valve should be in a closed state. Turn on the power of the instrument and preheat for 15 minutes.
5. System operation: After preheating, open the high-pressure valve and low-pressure valve of the three-valve group, fill the measured medium into the differential pressure transmitter, open the drain valve behind the differential pressure transmitter, quickly discharge the dirty liquid or gas, close the drain valve, and then close the balance valve of the three-valve group. The transmitter will enter the measurement state, and the flow integrator will also enter the working state to display the medium flow in the pipeline.

The following points should be noted during the installation of the Verabar flowmeter: The Verabar flowmeter can be installed on any plane (horizontal, vertical, inclined). During the installation process, the influence of the measuring medium on the pressure pipeline should be considered.
1. For vertical pipelines, the flowmeter can be installed on the horizontal plane of the pipeline at a position of 360 degrees along the pipeline. For horizontal pipelines, the pressure connector of the flowmeter must be located below the center line of the pipeline.
2. For vertical pipelines, the flowmeter can be installed on the horizontal plane of the pipeline at any position of 360 degrees along the pipeline. For horizontal pipelines, the pressure connector of the flowmeter must be located below the center line of the pipeline.
3. When measuring the flow of steam, for the horizontal plane around the vertical pipe, it should be noted that the two positive and negative pressure lead joints should be on the same horizontal plane.
Among the differential pressure flowmeters, the Verabar flowmeter requires a relatively short straight pipe length, which is an advantage of this type of flowmeter.
