Teledyne to showcase latest 3D and AI imaging solutions at Vision China

Shanghai, China, July 4, 2023 — Teledyne will showcase its latest products and solutions at the 2023 China (Shanghai) Machine Vision Exhibition (Vision China) held at the Shanghai National Convention and Exhibition Center from July 11-13 . Visit booth 5.1A101 to learn about advanced 3D solutions. Teledyne DALSA, e2v and FLIR IIS will highlight a variety of 3D vision solutions for machine vision, logistics and factory automation.


Teledyne 3D demonstrations include:


Teledyne DALSA's Z-Trak2 3D profile sensor is ready for 3D measurement right out of the box. Ideal for inspecting or measuring fast-moving objects, the Z-Trak2 has a 45KHz scan rate and can measure up to 2048 points/profiles. Multiple Z-Trak2 sensors can also be configured to measure thickness or perform 360° inspection of moving objects.


Teledyne e2v's Hydra3D, a Time of Flight (ToF) CMOS image sensor with 832 x 600 pixel resolution, uses the company's proprietary technology to operate in real time at short, medium and long distances, both indoors and outdoors. Hydra3D has excellent time accuracy in applications such as factory automation, robotics, logistics, surveillance, ITS, mapping/construction, and drones. The newly added Hydra3D+ feature uses a new 10 μm triple-channel pixel with very short transmission time and ultra-high sensitivity at NIR wavelengths, so it can work in a variety of light conditions without motion artifacts.


Teledyne FLIR will be demonstrating a custom embedded stereo camera for 3D perception and deep learning based human detection. The embedded stereo camera is ideal for robotic guidance and situational awareness applications.
