Embrace artificial intelligence and low-code intelligent e-commerce management
--Siemens low-code helps AI high-tech companies serve e-commerce customers efficiently and agilely
Key findings:
•Customer pain point: AI SaaS product companies need a development platform that can quickly adapt to SaaS product needs. It is too technically difficult and costly to build SaaS from scratch.
•Solution: We developed our own SaaS product by using Siemens low-code platform, with the help of modeling, page development, microflow, API interface, permissions and other functional modules, to provide users with the SaaS end of Jilue e-commerce operation AI decision-making service;
•Implementation effect: Compared with the traditional development model, it saves 80% of the overall cost and shortens the time by 75%, completing the launch of SaaS products in 4 months. In addition, it has formed an independent low-code development framework, and all future SaaS products of Jilue will be based on this framework;
High-tech companies focusing on artificial intelligence also have technical pains
Shenzhen Jilue Data Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Shenzhen Jilue) is a company focusing on providing cross-border e-commerce artificial intelligence operation products. "Artificial intelligence transforms cross-border e-commerce operations" is the entrepreneurial spirit of Shenzhen Jilue. Founded in 2021, the company is committed to using artificial intelligence algorithm technology to achieve a "lights-off" low-manpower operation model for cross-border e-commerce sellers. Jilue's algorithm comprehensively analyzes a large amount of data such as orders, advertisements, consumer-side performance, professional e-commerce data, and uses algorithms to reasonably launch daily advertising strategies, promotion strategies, and supply chain plans. With AI algorithms, merchants can stand out in the increasingly fierce e-commerce competition environment. Jilue's founder's experience in cloud computing can be traced back to 2009, and he is one of the earliest consultants in China to provide cloud computing enterprise solutions. In order to provide users with long-term value, from the beginning, Jilue has determined to solve problems for users through SaaS cloud computing products.
Jilue's SaaS products need to support the data base of artificial intelligence algorithms and the interaction of artificial intelligence algorithms on the user side. They also need to respond quickly to market changes: quickly obtain market data and quickly formulate response strategies. Riding the wind and waves in the high-tech field is like sailing against the current. If you don't move forward, you will fall behind. Shenzhen Jilue realized that if it could not respond to market demand faster, the competitive advantage accumulated by advanced technology would soon be lost.
Shenzhen Jilue CTO Wang Ruojing believes that there are three main challenges to responding to the market more quickly: first, rapid development, which can quickly deliver products based on market demand; second, direct development by the product department, which saves prototype time and enables direct business implementation; third, a stable technical foundation that can achieve rapid iteration and release of products for online use.
What kind of technology platform can have both fast and flexible development capabilities while meeting the needs of complex application development? What kind of technology platform? Wang Ruojing has been looking for such a technology. He got to know low-code by chance. After comparing various products, Siemens low-code's microflow capabilities, application market, mobile development capabilities, and front-end development capabilities attracted Jilue. In the end, Jilue selected Siemens low-code as the development platform, believing that it is a powerful tool to support SaaS product development.
Customer experience first, Siemens low code is the ideal choice
Before using low-code development tools, Shenzhen Jilue adopted traditional development solutions. The prototype drawings and prototype documents output by the product manager were handed over to the UI designer for cutting, and then handed over to the entire development team for development. The required cycle was long, especially when multiple functional departments were involved. The necessary communication links caused long intervals, which could not be implemented flexibly and quickly, and did not conform to the market rhythm under the current competitive situation.
Wang Ruojing said: "We hope that the development platform can have a stable technical foundation to support the horizontal and vertical expansion of SaaS products, while supporting the rapid implementation of functions."
Wang Ruojing and his team conducted a detailed study and analysis of Siemens' low-code development platform, and compared traditional development tools and low-code platforms, as well as the process and purpose of their own project version 1.0. The comparison found that:
•Siemens low-code platform can significantly shorten the development cycle and enable projects to be launched earlier;
•The demand department directly connects with the product manager, who can directly modify or add low-code platform content, improving work efficiency;
•Through the visual low-code development platform, users can understand the product more intuitively, optimizing the user experience.
So the team finally chose Siemens low-code platform as its 1.0 version development tool.
Using Siemens' low-code development platform, Shenzhen Jilue developed the 1.0 version of the project, which includes the following:
•Developed the function of obtaining merchant store information through the interface;
•The user inputs the required algorithm initialization information through the front-end page, so that the algorithm data part forms a closed loop, obtains important information sources, and stores them in the corresponding table;
•Through the microflow, API and other functions of the low-code platform, coordination with other departments can be achieved, that is, the algorithm data is output and the automated deployment operation is directly realized through the API calls of other departments.

If the traditional development method is used, the development of this project will require a development team of about 20 people and take 6 months. However, due to the use of Siemens low-code platform, current application development tends to be agile development, rapid development, phased launch, and daily release, which is completely different from the previous waterfall development. Today's application development actually only took 6 people and 3 months, which greatly saved time and human resource costs while meeting the user's need to obtain program functions in a timely manner, realizing iterative development.
Unlocking the superpowers of technology, Siemens low-code empowers the future
After the 1.0 version of the development project was launched, Wang Ruojing and his development team also extended the development plan to the future of Jilue's SaaS products. Jilue's AI decision-making requires more data input, supports more complex scenarios, and provides easier-to-use front-end interactive functions.
Wang Ruojing said: "Through the Siemens low-code development platform, it is more convenient to communicate with users about new requirements or iterations of existing content, which can improve project efficiency and achieve rapid agile development, meet today's market needs and application development needs, gain more recognition from users, and greatly improve product integrity."
Now, Shenzhen Jilue has formed an independent low-code development framework, which makes product launch more efficient, development cycle shorter, and product services more stable.
