On June 11, Professor Wei Shaojun, Director of the Institute of Microelectronics at Tsinghua University, visited Fulian Company for investigation, accompanied by Yang Tao, the leaders in charge of relevant departments of Putian City and Hanjiang District and Chairman of Fulian Company.

In the product display area of ​​Fulian, Professor Wei Shaojun listened in detail to the introduction of Fulian's project construction, product technology and technical highlights, and then went deep into the production workshop to inspect the company's 6-inch gallium arsenide wafer production line. The production line has successfully built a domestic "RF chip flow platform" and filled the gap in domestic gallium arsenide manufacturing.

Professor Wei Shaojun spoke highly of the development of Fulian, and encouraged Fulian, as the only gallium arsenide wafer foundry in China with mass production capabilities, to seize the development opportunities of the country's "new infrastructure", especially the 5G industry, integrate into the new wave of chip localization development, continue to increase scientific research efforts, and rapidly increase production capacity, so as to contribute to promoting China's "smart manufacturing" and realizing chip localization.
