Smart transportation is a focal topic under the "new infrastructure" and is closely related to everyone's life. In the field of rail transit, SenseTime has launched the "SenseMeteor Smart Rail Transit Platform", which can realize face-code mutual access in the rail transit field, that is, passengers can choose to enter and exit the station by face scanning or QR code. This product is based on SenseTime's original deep learning algorithm and is specially optimized for rail transit scenarios to ensure high accuracy. With a face database of one million people, the misrecognition rate is less than one in a million.
At present, the product has been implemented in more than 150 subway stations in many cities with a population of tens of millions across the country, including the entire lines of Zhengzhou Metro Lines 1 and 14, the entire lines of Xi'an Metro Lines 1, 2, 3, and 4, and 27 stations in Harbin Metro. When passengers enter the station through the dedicated gate channel, the system can automatically complete face recognition and verification. The application of this function can solve some practical difficulties of passengers, such as no change, dead mobile phone, forgetting to bring tickets, carrying luggage, holding children, making phone calls, etc. At the same time, it also brings convenience to the operation and management of the subway. Its contactless passage mode can avoid passengers staying and crowding in front of the gate, making subway travel safer and more efficient.
Promote the intelligent upgrading of industries
As various places have gradually entered the stage of resuming work and production, the cultural tourism industry has also encountered new challenges when reopening to the public. For example, in museums with relatively closed spaces and dense crowds, using traditional handheld devices to screen people's temperatures faces many practical difficulties. It consumes manpower, has low screening efficiency, and cannot report abnormal body temperatures to the CDC in the first place.
In response to this, SenseTime and its partners have jointly developed a "Museum AI Epidemic Prevention System" with integrated management of "cloud + edge + end". The system is based on SenseTime's modular AI-enabled product, the Nebula Intelligent Temperature Measurement and Screening System, which can accurately concentrate non-contact temperature measurement on the forehead through AI algorithms to achieve high-precision temperature detection and screening.
