1. The average salary of private enterprises in the industry exceeds that of state-owned enterprises, and labor costs continue to rise

According to the "2014-2015 Semiconductor Industry Salary and Benefits Research Report" recently released by Zhongda Parkshin, the average salary of private enterprises participating in the survey is 73,456 yuan, which exceeds the 71,245 yuan of state-owned enterprises. From the perspective of historical data, from the perspective of industry average salary, state-owned enterprises have great advantages in the competition with private enterprises. On the one hand, they have the guarantee of a long-term career, which is known as the "iron rice bowl"; on the other hand, the salary and benefits are relatively good. However, in recent years, the salary increase of private enterprises has continued to increase, especially the retention and incentives for core talents are more timely and powerful than those of state-owned enterprises, and the attraction of talents is also slowly improving. In addition, the salary level of foreign-funded enterprises is still in the leading position. In the short term, private enterprises do not have strong salary competitiveness. In the future, they need to work harder on soft aspects such as corporate culture, allowances and benefits, and employee care.

2. Salary growth has a downward trend, but salary levels continue to rise

According to the report, the industry is expected to increase wages by 7.8% in 2015. Although this figure is higher than that of most manufacturing companies, we still cannot ignore the fact that nearly one-sixth of the surveyed companies have no plans to increase wages this year. With the continuous increase in labor costs, companies need to work hard on matching people with jobs and increasing per capita efficiency in order to optimize internal operations and human resource systems before the next growth period arrives.
