【Abstract】 With the rapid development of digital information technology and network, embedded systems are widely used in all aspects of people\'s life and production, and the requirements for networking, informatization, diversity of transmission standards and real-time applications are getting higher and higher. Video acquisition systems are widely used in many fields such as intelligent transportation and security, and play an important role in national economy and national defense construction. The existing video acquisition system is mainly composed of industrial computers and video acquisition cards, which have the characteristics of poor system stability and high price. This paper designs an embedded video acquisition system based on digital signal processor (DSP), using ADI\'s Blackfin 561 as the core processor to complete the digital acquisition of analog signals. The paper introduces the overall design ideas and specific software and hardware design work of the system in detail, and discusses several major issues of system design such as the construction of embedded platform and video interface driver design. According to the hardware structure of ADSP-BF561 EZ-KIT LITE evaluation board, the framework of the whole system and the data flow of the video acquisition system are analyzed. According to the development characteristics of embedded software, a uClinux operating system platform suitable for this system is established. Through the study of the interrupt mechanism, sleep mechanism and blocking I/O mechanism under uClinux, the PPI video interface driver design and development is carried out to realize the acquisition of video signals. Finally, the corresponding application is designed to test the driver and provide an effective interface for the video encoding program. The paper analyzes and debugs the u-boot source code...
