We present a dual transmission gate adiabatic logic (DTGAL) for low- power design, which is driven by three- phase AC power supply. First, the energy recovery principle in CMOS circuits is analyzed. Then, the adiabatic D,T and JK flip- flops are proposed. A practical sequential system designed with the adiabatic D flip- flop is demonstrated.SPICE simulations demonstrate that the designed circuits have correct logic function and considerable power saving.
