High-voltage switch contacts and busbars are generally at high potential, and detecting their temperature has always been a difficult problem in power system detection. To address this problem, the author proposed a detection method that combines optical fiber technology. The light source is controlled by an AVR microcontroller, and the optical signal with temperature information is coupled to the L0G114 chip for photoelectric conversion through modulation of the light intensity type optical fiber temperature sensor. The output signal is then converted by the AVR microcontroller to A/D, and the high-precision temperature value is obtained through data analysis. The results show that the system has the characteristics of high precision, small size, and easy installation.
