Abstract:Objective: To design an embedded Linux network communication system based on ARM9 platform. Methods: The $3C2410 microprocessor and the industrial network interface chip CS8900A were selected for hardware circuit design; the software system design included porting the embedded Linux operating system, making the cramfs root file system, and creating server and client applications for the socket interface. Results: A server based on ARM9 and embedded Linux system was built, and the network communication between the server and the client was successfully realized. Conclusion: Embedded devices based on ARM9 platform can exchange information well through the network and other communication systems. [Author Abstract]
