Development of vehicle brake monitoring device based on S3C2410X

Abstract: According to the parameter characteristics of vehicle 104 air brake, a vehicle brake system monitoring device based on S3C2410X processor was developed. The device can detect common faults of vehicle brake system, store the detection results and brake system status data in large capacity, and realize computer management of brake maintenance. The monitoring device consists of two parts: gas pressure sensor and 32-bit embedded computer. The pressure sensor detects the pressure value of train brake pipe, brake cylinder and working air cylinder. The embedded computer analyzes and processes the information provided by the sensor to realize fault identification, display and alarm. A vehicle brake fault simulation test was carried out on a single vehicle test bench. The experimental results show that the monitoring device can realize real-time detection and alarm of common brake faults. [Author Abstract]
