The research on predicting the contact resistance of relay contacts is of great significance for predicting its contact reliability and even its overall reliability. This paper studies the time-varying law of contact resistance and divides the contact closure state changes into three state changes: stable, unstable and trend, so as to determine the stability performance of the contact. Using contact resistance as a prediction parameter, a combined prediction model is established, that is, different prediction models are used for contact resistances with different state changes. The prediction results of the example show that this prediction method can predict stable and trend-changing contact resistances in the short term. Therefore, a reasonable prediction can be made for contact failures caused by poor contact.
