This paper analyzes the working process of two Boost PFC circuits with discrete inductors and coupled inductors in interlaced parallel connection under the discontinuous inductor current mode. Compared with discrete inductors, the Boost PFC circuit with coupled inductors has problems such as large inductor peak current, high input current harmonic components, and low power factor. To solve these problems, a novel integrated inductor is adopted, and a PSpice simulation model is established for the winding method of the integrated inductor using the Gyrator-capacitor method. Through simulation, it is verified that this integrated inductor can well overcome the shortcomings of coupled inductors, and its working characteristics are close to those of two discrete inductors.
