The Software Communication Architecture is the only standard for software radio architecture released by the Joint Program Office (JPO) of the U.S. Department of Defense. The current development of waveform components based on the Software Communication Architecture has problems such as poor portability and low reusability. Based on an in-depth study of the HAL-C content of the Hardware Abstraction Layer Connectivity in the Software Communication Architecture Special Hardware Supplementary Specification, this paper proposes a method for implementing DSP hardware abstraction layer connectivity based on the Software Communication Architecture. Practice has proved that this method conforms to the design concept of hardware abstraction layer connectivity of the Software Communication Architecture, and has the characteristics of easy implementation, good component portability, and low resource consumption.
