After introducing line defects into the complete two-dimensional photonic crystal, a two-dimensional photonic crystal waveguide is formed. The finite-difference time-domain method (FDT) is used to study the transmission characteristics of the photonic crystal waveguide, calculate the transmittance frequency distribution of the photonic crystal waveguide, and give the optical field distribution and energy flux density schematic diagram of photonic crystal waveguides with different structures.
