Smart instruments based on the Hart protocol are widely used in current industrial production processes. In order to give full play to the performance of Hart smart instruments, it is necessary to achieve seamless integration with various control systems, and open integration solutions usually use OPC servers. However, the common OPC servers currently mainly support the exchange of real-time information, and lack support for parameter configuration, adjustment, management, maintenance and diagnosis of smart instruments. Therefore, a HART-OPC development solution is proposed, which not only meets the requirements of real-time information exchange, but also provides support for parameter configuration, management and maintenance of Hart instruments. At the same time, a unified driver model is adopted for different HART devices from different manufacturers, so as to truly achieve seamless integration of HART smart instruments. This model is elaborated in detail. Finally, it was applied to the Hart pressure transmitter of China Silian Instrument Group, and integrated with common configuration tools and tested.
