The hardware design of the system is based on the embedded ARM966E.S, with 6 infrared ranging sensors scientifically arranged to realize the far-infrared flame sensor group. It can quickly and accurately detect the environment. It uses dual power supplies and DC motor drive. The system software design uses optimized obstacle avoidance and fire extinguishing algorithms. Experiments have shown that this design greatly improves the real-time, rapidity and reliability of the system. The robot searches 4 rooms and completes the fire extinguishing in about 8 seconds, reaching the international advanced level.
