This paper designs a manual-controlled online timing system using AT89S51. This system uses a single-chip microcomputer as the core component. Just press the timing switch when the PC is online or offline, and the timer system will start timing automatically, and can accumulate the total online time of this month, and can also display the current online time and the cumulative online time at the same time. In addition, this system can also set the online alarm time. When it exceeds the set value, the system will issue an alarm prompt. Through the automatic control of the single-chip microcomputer, the user is relieved of repeated and time-consuming manual labor. In addition, the timing system designed in this way is low-cost, stable in operation, and has great practical application value.
