This paper uses computer vision technology to detect fruit edges based on the virtual instrument development platform LabVIEW and image processing software IMAQ Vision. The software realizes image processing processes such as median filtering, threshold processing, image segmentation and morphological filtering. From the refinement processing results after corrosion and expansion, the design requirements are met. The study shows that the application of virtual instrument computer technology in fruit image processing is feasible and has broad application prospects.
