The transmission signal is organized into frames, each frame has a period of Tf and contains Ns (Ns=15) OFDM symbols. In order to achieve automatic frequency switching, every 3 frames form a super frame. Each symbol consists of K carriers and the transmission period is Ts. Ts consists of two parts: a useful part with a period of Tu and a guard interval with a period of Tg. The interval between adjacent carriers is 1/Tu. The symbols in an OFDM frame are numbered from 0 to Ns-1. All symbols include data and reference information. Since the OFDM signal consists of multiple independently modulated carriers, each symbol can be considered to be allocated to each unit in sequence, and each unit is modulated to a corresponding carrier during a symbol. In addition to the transmitted data, an OFDM frame also includes a pilot unit and a control unit (FAC and SDC/AFS). The pilot signal can be used for frame, frequency and time synchronization, channel estimation, transmission mode identification, and can also be used to correct phase noise.
