The diversity detection depolarization fading technology of interferometric fiber optic sensors is theoretically analyzed, and a signal processing method is proposed to square and add the signals of each channel, so that the real-time depolarization fading signal detection of the unit and array can be realized. Through theoretical calculation, the amplitude fluctuation of the interference signal can be made less than 4.7dB, and it is concluded that three-way polarization detection is the simplest value for diversity detection. Through the signal processing circuit, the influence of polarization fading can be eliminated with a slight decrease in the signal-to-noise ratio, and the depolarization fading of the interferometric fiber optic sensor can be realized.
