The scheme of remote monitoring terminal system for landslide geological disaster based on GPRS wireless transmission is proposed. According to the actual functional requirements, various functional modules with single-chip C8051F040 as the control core are designed, and the GPRS wireless transmission technology in the monitoring terminal system is introduced. Keywords: GPRS; landslide; remote monitoring terminal my country is a country with frequent geological disasters. At present, the on-site monitoring means of landslides in most parts of the country are mainly based on traditional manual patrol testing, recording and data processing. Technical personnel need to be sent on duty to guard, which requires a lot of human resources and funds. In addition, most of the disaster sites are in dangerous terrain, and the on-site work of technical personnel lacks personal safety protection and is inefficient [1-2]. GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) is the abbreviation of general packet radio service, which is a new packet data bearer service developed on the existing GSM (Global System For Mobile) system. GPRS completes data transmission in packet mode by introducing packet switching functional entities in the GSM network. It has a fast transmission rate and supports both IP and X.25 packet data network protocols. The GPRS system also supports mobile users to access the Internet or other packet data networks using packet data mobile terminals. Since the GPRS network has the characteristics of fast network access speed, seamless connection with the existing data network, support for medium and high-speed data transmission, timely online, and traffic-based billing [3-4], it has now been applied to many fields such as landslide geological disaster real-time monitoring system. The landslide remote monitoring terminal system is the foundation and core part of the entire geological disaster wireless real-time early warning monitoring system. The landslide geological disaster remote wireless real-time early warning monitoring system based on GPRS wireless transmission consists of a landslide site multi-point data collection LAN system, a wireless public network, and a remote monitoring host.
