With the continuous development of network intrusion technology, the behavior of intrusions shows characteristics such as uncertainty, complexity, and diversity. Intrusion detection faces many key problems to be solved. This paper introduces in detail the design and specific implementation of an intrusion detection system based on data mining, that is, data mining technology for data preprocessing and classification and clustering mining. In data preprocessing, we use a method based on attribute extraction to remove interference attributes. Finally, we tested the system. Through the test results, we found that the mining efficiency and accuracy are good, and the system can effectively detect known and unknown attacks.
