What people usually call CT actually refers to X-ray CT, or \"X-ray computerized scanning\". Today, this technology has been widely used in clinical practice and has become an important means of diagnosing diseases. X-rays are the basis of medical CT and industrial CT. As early as 2003, Delphi was considering applying CT computer scanning technology used in the medical field to the automotive industry. R&D personnel wanted to use X-ray scanning technology to digitally analyze automotive parts, compare the data obtained from the workpiece scan with the CAD design data, and perform quality analysis and manufacturing tolerance inspection on the computer screen.
