There are few reports on ultrasonic wind speed and direction design instruments in China. This system uses the time difference method to measure wind speed and direction. It uses the single-chip microcomputer PIC18F4580 as the control core to form a high-speed timing module. It uses multiple threshold comparison circuits and combines software design to achieve emission time range control and reliability inspection. The experimental results show that the system has a high degree of fitting with the reference curve below 30m/s, achieving the purpose of using the time difference method to measure wind speed and direction ultrasonically, and has certain practical value.
